Makers are a new source for innovation and the Maker Movement has the potential to broaden participation in innovation. The challenge for any business is to tap into this new source and participate in an open innovation ecosystem. I will focus on how organizations are working with makers inside and outside their company to generate new ideas for products and helping makers take products from prototype to production.
